Special Announcement
It is with great pleasure that we can announce the appointment of Rev Jack Marsh as interim vicar of St James, Gatley from October this year.
Jack is a curate at Holy Trinity Platt in Manchester Diocese and will continue to live in the Manchester curate’s house until the vicarage becomes free.
Jack will be licensed by Bishop Mark, the Bishop of Chester, at 7.00pm on Tuesday 14th October (SAVE THE DATE) and will initially be here for three days a week and three days a week back in Manchester Diocese, serving out his curacy.
On 1st January 2026, the post will become full-time, initially for a three-year period, in the hope that the church will grow and become self-supporting.
Jack is married and has three children.
We believe that God has called them as a family to St James, Gatley, and we are trusting God for his provision for the long term, in ministry with us.
