Welcome to St. James Gatley
We are delighted to be able to worship together in Church again and have taken every step to keep people safe in our services. We have two services on Sunday morning at 8.30am & 10am.
The 10am Sunday service will be livestreamed on Facebook at 10am and then published on this site on the Sunday's Online Service page. You can also access the prayers and readings for each Sunday.
We meet in Church on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 9.30am for Morning Prayer, and we have a service of Holy Communion on Wednesdays at 9.30am.
Every blessing to you, Rev Matthew

St James’ 140th Anniversary Celebrations!

On Saturday 27th November we will be holding a Coffee Morning in aid of the Children's Society in Church from 10.30am. There will also be cake and knitwear stalls.

As part of our celebrations, we will be displaying pictures of life at St James’s Church through the generations. The display will be up in Church for just over a week and includes lots of fascinating pictures from the archive.

We will be celebrating our Anniversary with an All-Age Toy Service on Sunday 5th December at 10am. We will be collecting brand new toys and toiletries at this service for Emmeline’s Pantry. You can bring your gifts to Church in the coming weeks. After the Toy Service there will be refreshments in the Church Hall, including a special 140th Anniversary Cake.

As we celebrate this anniversary, we look back with thanks, we look outward with care, and we journey forward in faith and hope.
